Wildlife Jobs

Anyone know of any type of Wildlife Job in Michigan??? Anything? DNR doesn't really have the funds to be hiring right now which is why I ask.

With the economy the way it is right now, the only " wildlife " job out there is holding a sign with the day's special dressed in a chichen suit in front of a KFC .......

Wrong time of year, but typically the USFWS hires early Spring (seasonal job) for their sea lamprey treatment program. Was a great job when I had it. It lead me to the USGS, where I'm currently employed as a Hydrologic Technician (based out of Lansing). But the Biology office of the USGS is in Ann Arbor and might be worth checking out as I believe that is where the Midwest Area and/or Great Lakes (sorry forgot the official name for it) will be housed. Could be some great opportunities there. Bad news at least for the USGS Water Resources Division (where I work)...jobs are scarse, and I'm still not 100% how safe I am if budgets get cut any further and I'm now 9+ years in (and pretty much still the FNG). Most federal jobs are posted through usajobs.com
