Anybody have any history with a Bear Element? I ran into a new one on a shelf today for pretty cheap. 70#, 29" draw, 32" axle to axle, 7.75" riser, parallel limbs, rated 305 FPS. It hasn't been built since 2007. I also heard Bear warrants them for life. The reviews I read online were all very good. Would like to hear from someone who has or had one though. Any help would be appreciated.

Have the Bear intinct and it shoots well. They have good deals on the Element right now but beware. I was with a freind of mine who found a bare Element bow for a REALLY low price. He looked at it real close but never drew it back. It had a paint chip or two out of it but nothing major and he asked how i felt about it. I thought it was a good price and a good bow. So we get to the counter and hes ready to pay when i hold up his bow and notice its left handed and hes a righty :lol:. It was the only one they had. Now im not saying your as goofy as my freind but please check the grip first.;)

Gander Mountain in Utica had 2 60# Bear Truth's (Original) for $400 and then 30% off, when I was there earlier this week...might be something to check out for the cheap as they have 30% off all clearance bows right now...just an FYI

Dick's Sporting Goods had some Bear Elements for 189.00. I kicked around getting one but decided not to. Mainly they didn't have a range for me to shoot it first. It looked like a decent bow & I want to get a parallel limb bow. I REALLY want a Hoyt Alphamax 32, but that just ain't in the cards right now. Oh & remcorebond, I did check and they were all right handed bows . That would really suck to notice that after you were already home.:D
