Just got back from Metro Beach fished from 10:00 to 1:00. About 3 to 4" of ice by the boat docks and in the basin. People walked around the south side of the island and said it was solid but I wasn,t that brave. Tried minnows, wax worms, and mousies and only caught 3 to 4" perch. About 15 guys out with the same results.
Probably will be quite busy tomarrow so will head out to Stoney Creek. Don,t no if the wine store on 25 and mound has any minnows but I still got about 2 dozen. Last time I was there he told me he might not get any this year but I will go by and see.
he did say he would have wax worms and mousies. Will report tomarrow.
