Metro Report 3/7....not too shabby

fished Metro Day Sail from 7:30 till 2pm

two of us ended up with 42, half were 7 to 7.5 inchers, the other half were over 8 with a few 12's in there

i saw some of the biggest perch ive ever seen in my 8 years fishing LSC...the kind of fish that double your heart rate when they show up...im talking 13's OR BETTER....problem was that theyd come in with some smaller fish and the small guys would attack and the bigguns would blast out of there.

on the way in, talked to a guy who was about 60 yards from us who was out there about an hour less than we were....he only had 3....using jigging raps and spoons

try to get out there guys....the fish are there!!!

bite was best between 10 and noon, ice was 13 inches where we were....you can figure out where we were if you just think a little!!!!

yep..and on everything

last weekend we were Fishing Crystal and caught Coho and White Suckers on it

last fall we caught Whitefish off the pier in Tawas on it

last Friday, we fished a lake my buddy lives on and caught Crappie, Walleye and Pike

it catches EVERYTHING.

if you saw my tackle box you would laugh (at first)...its a tiny Plano, just full of red hooks, GID beads and split shot.

i use no lures.

Just put my gear away for this ice season. It never fails, some one finds them after I stop fishing the ice. You should split your catch with me or I will get back on the ice and the dinks will return.:D
