Fished SANG this morning and met up with Tinmarine. Getting to think there really is a trend when he's on the ice.:nono: Got one and turned it loose.
Finally waddled off the ice(felt like a duck) around 11:30.............the sled left a wake behind me.:rolleyes: Highlight of the morning was the lightening and thunder.:yikes: Fog rolled in as I hit the wall. About a 3 inch gap at the wall. Just a heads-up for anyone thinkin of hitting it tomorrow. Ice is any where from 4 to 6 inches. Watch them open drain holes if you slopping around out there.:16suspect Thinkin I'm gonna hang up my jigs for the season.(maybe):16suspect:evil:

Sounds like we lost a good 4 or 5 " of ice since it started warming up.

Hope nobody got stuck out in the fog...it rolled in thick!!! Just stuck my head out the roof door @ the palace and I cant see lapper rd.... Yikes!

I'd use it for chum 'for I ate it on purpose ;)
Looked out the window this morning sippin' coffee and broke the gear down and stowed the shanty.

I didn't stow ALL the gear but it's whatever I can fit in a bucket from here on out.

Need a snow machine and some water skis for some real action out there.;)

Or try Ocean Breeze on Van Dyke just north of 23 mile. 9 filets of real perch, salad or cole slaw and choice of potato for $11.35. Friday only (pan fried perch on their special daily menu)

Had to take both shoes off to divide that. I know a marine who wanted a pic. of the jig I was using, not sure what he had in mind.

I seen where you were going with this and my only answer is, no matter how you bag them it is still better than we done on LSC all ice season. I only bag ours 30 or 50 per Qt. bag and I have alotta bags :evil: Mike

Thanks for posting the picture of smelt. I ended up going to Krogers and bought a pound of smelt because I couldn't get it out of my head.

9 mile area still has SOME ice, 2 guys on 4 to 5 inches. SCS library has 7 to 8 inches. A dozen guys on it catching gills and craps. You know how to get a hold of me.
