I have a LH PSE NOVA that I no longer use. It is almost 11 yrs old. I know it isnt worth much if anything at all. I thought about selling it but porbalby wont get much out of it. I thought about donating it to a program aimed at getting kids involved in hunting but I dont know that it goes low enough to even be a starter bow. It was a good bow for me over the yrs and has plenty of kills but I upgraded to the X FORCE GX. Any suggestions??? Is there an old bow bone yard???
make it a carp killer. Bowfishing is a hoot, you get to shoot and control those nasty invasives at the same time.:)

Give it to a kid in your neighborhood. I help my neighbors kid. Trying to get him involved in hunting. He loves it so far. He is 11 and cant get enough of it. There are lots of kids out there with no direction. His dad is no where around, his mom works alot to take care of three kids. It gives him something positive to focus on. He knows that he has to keep his grades up if he wants to go hunting and fishing with me. He has to maintain a b average if he wants to go. Marcus works his tail off and actually has kept an a average for the last year and half now.

Giving it to someone just getting started (kid or adult) is totally cool!
Make a post on MS - it won't take long.

I agree with KK and MM, give it away to someone needy either here or in your neighborhood. Karma's a great thing.;)

Give it to a new recruit in the sport. That's what I did with my old bow last year.

I have a LH Bear Super Magnum 44, 55 to 70 lbs, that comes with a $150 hard case and gosh must be close to 15 to 20 arrows, a release, an overdraw, 2 arm guards, 2 finger gloves, tool case with a simple fletching tool, numerous broadheads and field points, waxes, glues, and a lot of other junk, heck I even have an old foam target that I'll let go with it.........$100 will take it all...........I haven't been able to shoot it for 6 years due to physical ailments. Its just setting in the closet gathering dust......
Heck the hard case cost $150 by itself...........
If your interested PM me............can't give it away but I'm willing to work something out..........

I have given a few away to friends, have given some to kids that were given to me. Sometimes the only way to get newbies into it is for free. However when I get a new matthews I wont be giving my old one away!!!!!:D:D:D:D

Good job . I have given a couple of older bows away to younger hunters and helped them get started . Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a young archer make progress , become proficient with the bow and enjoy the sport . ;)

I agree with give it to a neighbor hood kid or a nephew, I would think there can't be hardly anything more rewarding than him coming to your house with his first bow kill deer to show it off.

Give it to a crossbow hunter so they can learn how to use a bow. Sorry had to say it.

You could hang it on your wall like a decoration. Then, if you could sell it or give it away, you could just pull it down. My first bow hangs on my wall next to my first buck.

i was just given my first bow today by a member on another site. i had to drive out to fowlerville to pic it up, but that's the least of my concerns when it comes to a generous gift like a free bow. it an older darton i was actually looking to buy an older bow specifically for carp shooting, and the gentlemen offered me the bow for free if i came to get it.
it was a great gesture and i know that your bow would make some one as happy and grateful as i am today.
