stopped by a few spots this afternoon, to see how difficult it will be to get on the lake tomorrow.

cotton looked good. by far the most guys there. perch were spotty. gillin was apparently going well.

metro seemed good too. seems like the wind was pushin it up the shore. dink city from the guys i talked to.

ginos was the sketchiest. since i went in there last year, i am wary of that spot, especially with the drain. still, there were guys out there. don't know how they were doing.

about 15 cars @ beacon. didn't bother checking there, as i wouldn't stay in that harbor anyway.

against my better judgment, i am probably hitting ginos with waders, rain gear, and a 8ft 2x6 in the a.m. i must be a glutton for punishment. it has been lousy for me there this year, and i have done much better at the day sail. in spite of my high IQ, I am pretty stupid when it comes to water. so if i go in again tomorrow, it will be at least the 10th time in my life.

With the thickness I would say you probably won't be going through...I would say there is a better chance of taking a ride if the wind is right..

not in the middle. the first 20 feet is what i'm afraid of.
