the last time we had safe ice the first weekend in December in S.E. Mich.
My records show the earliest I've gotten on the ice was the 2nd weekend in Dec. and this was awhile back.
Let's hope the local bait shops make a killing this season and try to make up for the losses the faced for the last couple of years.

And let's hope that the record high temperatures currently in Anchorage don't slide East at all. The average temperature for November was fourteen degrees above normal. There is no snow there now....
