If anyone goes have fun getting pelted with rain and 30mph winds. And watch out for the thunderstorm! Looks like I have to try to get some fishing in on friday morning. This is the end of the good ice.

We'll see. Seems like our awesome meteorologists predicted about 1-2" of rain last week and we got about a trace and it didn't hurt a thing.

This weekend will be fishable, next weekend will be shot, as long as this warm up keeps goin. I hope so. Bring on the steelies. And if you do go out this weekend, dont forget your spud and some waterproof boots cause that ice is going to be wet!!!!

As long as the shore ice doesn't take too bad of a hit,,, we'll make it close to April on the ice this year. I'm not sure what area that weather report was for either,, I can't find any site that has 30mph winds forecasted...:confused:

Hey I USED to be big in to ice fishing.... Fished sag. bay three days this year and did well. After that 3 day weekend, Just didnt go agin. Work and family has been taking up much of my time....

Going up to the UP tomrrow for some march sledding and I think thats going to be it for me.

Im just ready for warm weather and soft water.

Just got the boat out of storage today. Will be getting all ice fishing gear ready to go for next ice. By the way Willie Tippet, my auger is running like new. Thanks again for your help. Hope we can get together for some soft water fishing.:) Dave

Well this doesnt hurt my feelings any today but the weather guy got the temp forecast wrong today with temps up to near 70* its time to think spring.It would be cool though to be out on the ice in a Tshirt:D
