All though it's been a great season for ice my luck fishing has sucked for the most part. Can't seem to get interested in going back out anymore. So I'll put the ice gear up and get ready for the spring and jiggin for eyes in the river followed by Saginaw eyes:D:D ...Be safe out there folks, I know there is some great fishing still to be had but safety should be #1.

Makes two of us now just looked at the weather channel and the soonest time I can go is friday saturday and sunday but not with how warm its getting not for the drive good luck to who goes out.

I looked @ the NOAA forcast for the weekend and they are predicting 1-3" of rain now.

Sure hope they get that one wrong or everybody is going to be putting the gear up.

Had a couple of friends out tonight. As my buddy came off the lake he broke through right at the shore. While it's still 8 inches out where we were fishing, the shore ice will probably thaw out twenty or so feet with upcoming warm weather.
I don't think it'll get cold enough to trust the ice again this year. Probably drain the auger and put the gear away tomorrow.

It may be over for you, but it was startin to pick up for me.
Did pretty good today . Headin back out tomorrow. Last ice is always been good.

My cousin just caught a limit of fifty 10 - 13 inch "pigs" and wants to take me to his spot this weekend.... Nah! I'm not done quite yet! :D
