I was thinking of adding a fishfinder on my bow using a trolling motor mount and seen that the Lowrance X67 ice model had that option. Thought it would be nice to have to use for both seasons. I would use it 95% of time in Lake ST Clair and rivers. Do you think it will display Walleye that are hugging bottom in 40-60ft. The specs are only 800 wattts of power. Using it in the ice season would only be a bonus. If another model for the same cost would work much better on the boat I would be inclined to go that way. Just trying to get some opinions. Thanks

ThanksThey work well for the ice i know,for the eyes iam not sure ive never used one for that but would think it should be a good unit...It does go both ways fish finder or flasher....Mark
