Anybody been fishing the harbor by the hooters in Bay City? Checked the ice today, varied from 1-3in, seen two kids on it, I didn't try it, but in a few days it should be okay. I sat on a couple of the docks, and stomped it hard with my foot, didn't budge, except near the mouth, it did a bit, but not much. Some winter killed shad in there below the ice, alot of small ones. The river's ice in BC is very unsafe, the ships are not helping, so we won't have safe ice until the ships stop coming up. Tight-lines guys!
