ginos 3-1-09

mt buddy phatz and i went out for the afternoon started at about 1pm and stayed tell dark. he had his camera down the hole and all day there were fish. we caught probably over 100 fish total. brought home 29. 16 perch and 13 blue gills(not one sunny). :D
we posted up in like 6-8 feet just south of ginos resturant about 200 yds out. the gills were tearing up the orange jenson egg on purple jig. the bigger perch were all over the minnows. everything was bitting spikes but not much size to them.
purple jig tipped with egg and orange and green with minnows worked best that day. sorry no pics yet still trying to figure out how to get them off my phone.:help:
sounds like a lot of people starting to catch some fish out there so ill be back out wednesday. except i think its time to go deeper for the pigs, getting to that time. good luck everyone and hope the season ends good.:fish:

Fished 9-10 mile area did squat. should have been over in that direction. Can you still ride out there from Day Sail with 3 wheeler? seeya

U can get out off crocker....Just be aware there is a working crack across there...runs from the point @ becon cove and off to the S.

Pick ur spots wisely...

Gonna fish lite Friday. the pop-up, camera, heater,15rods, 20 tackle boxes and quad are staying home. Back to basics. Might as well, tried everything else.

ill be going out tomo to the same spot. supposed to be rainy so looks like the shanty has to come with me but only 1 tackle box and 2 rods are joining me on this trip cause of the ice conditions. going back to ginos in same 8 fow and trying for some hogs this time. will either be in blue clam 5600 or black shappel 2-man if anyone sees me just come say high.(i know there is a lot of those shantys but mine has a set of skies next to the shanty for pulling purposes.
