I live in Livingston county and looking for a new bow string. I have a PSE Stinger. What string do you recomend and where to go get it done. Thanks

It depend on how much you want to spend, but when it comes to strings and cables you get what you pay for. For high end bow string I would recommend winners choice or zebra string. Like I mentioned they will cost a little more than a basic string but will last about 2 to 3 times longer and won't stretch as much.

Sometimes you can get a custom made string that is as good or better than one you can buy from a shop for less money. Goto www.archerytalk.com and look up guys who make strings and get some prices etc. You will learn a lot about strings in the meantime. Try "Bucknasty" on that forum. He is really nice guy and makes great strings. If you are gonna buy one off the shelf try the better brands like Winners Choice or Vapor Trail.

Head east on M-59 until you get past White Lake, just into Waterford at Williams Lake Rd, now just past there on the left is a little place called KD Outdoors, go in and see Ken. Let him know Burksee from M-S.com reffered you. ;) Oh heck, he's such a good guy he and his guys would take care of you anyhow. :D
