We went out Sunday morning, got a late start-fished from 8 till 12:30. We made a few moves and found them in 7 to 8 fow. Clarity was decent( 4ft.) and got better further away from the salt. With the sun out, we could see bottom but water was cloudy. Ended up keeping 31 fish, most between 7 and 8". Four of them were 10". We threw back about 30 dinks. It was definately my smallest sized catch this year, but it's a meal all the same. 90% of the fish were caught on minnows, the rest on a kens spoon tipped with spikes and a jiggin eye tipped with a minnow head. We had on a decent sized pike, but it took one last run and broke off:rant:. All in all, not the best day, but definately worth the effort.

Ice conditions were good. there is still 10 to 13" of ice out there. Very clear hard ice. Definately a creeper walk. With all the wind yesterday the ice was cracking quite a bit, but nothing opened up . Launch ice was still solid and there was ice as far as I could see.

Ice looked real good! Didnt get out as far as we would have liked due to the 30mph off shore wind!:yikes:

We each lost the hog of the year today on the way up to the hole!:)
