I was at the Deer Classic in Green Bay this weekend and pulled back a new Admiral. The draw was sooooo smooth. Any one shoot or own an Admiral? I may have to go to the bow shop and shoot one. My wife is going to love me. :D

It's a nice bow, but it's 3rd out of the 3 center pivots they have for '09 in my book. Shoot the Captain and the Sentinal too...they are all a little different. If you don't mind a longer ATA bow the Sentinal is the best of three IMO...

Have had my Admiral for a month now, and love it. Smooth and no hand shock. I went with the Admiral becasue it had everything I like in a bow, shorter ATA 31" which is what I like along with a wider brace height over the captain and sentinal. I agree you should shoot all three and make your decision. I went with Admiral set at 65lbs, HHA sight, G5 drop away rest, and the Octane quiver. I have not made up my mind yet wether I will shoot a stablizer or not. So far I see no real need for one. I have shot with and with ut and see no real difference. The Admiral seems to be balanced very well.

At the very least a stabilizer will help you to hold your pin more steady on your target, especially at longer distances. Because of this there isn't a bow made that I wouldn't put a stabilizer on...
