Forecast is calling for lots of rain and warm weather after Tuesday, I think this may be the last weekend, we should have decent ice into mid week but think by the weekend things will be a mess. What do you guys think?

I'm thinking that tomorrow is going to be it for 2009 season for me.... Between the weather and personal commitments :sad: It hasn't been a real productive season but it was still fun :D

Now we look forward to walleye on the river! I'll be waiting for the lilacs to bloom!! :corkysm55

Not even close.
There will be fishable ice through the better part of March.
There's still a ton of ice in certain places. It takes a long, long time to melt.
I fished last year until April 5.

Not to burst your bubble.

But there will be open water options at the same time if that's what you're into.

According to the forecast it will be making ice for the next 4 days.
Plenty if icefishing left!

If theres alot of rain comin the ice will be around for awhile but the water will be mudddd! Cmon spring!!! The walleyes are waitin!!!! Ill be out tomorrow but after that will be preppin the boat!

If the fish are biting I will be there ...but the way it's going this season I just don't see it happening! :dizzy:

It may be for you. Hopefully this was the last day I see anyone showing everybody they own a power auger and know how to stop the bite in the immediate area and around me. Like the gentleman said: Ice Out Rules!

yea especially when there is already 100 holes around them!!!!come on boats!!!and detroit river!!!them walleye don't seem to mind the noise!!!!

Walleye and perch are waiting for soft water fishing. Have cancelled all ice fishing for this season. Get the boats ready.:D

it wouldnt break my heart if this was the last week. It was a pretty good season, but i'm ready for the walleyes in the river. C'MON SPRING!!!:cool:
