Heavy Hackled Bugger

Here is a bugger I have been working on, heavy on the hackle. For this fly you need the bead head or it will ride in the surface film like a dry fly. I'm tying them for smallies but I'm sure they will work for other species.

Looks good. In the first pic, is the hackle on the body a different color, or is that just a reflection?

The feather actually changes color half way up. I'm using the hackle from a saddle that is inbetween the dry fly hackle and the schlappen feathers. I like to use feathers that are two or three different colors or have speckling in them.
