It will need some welding also. It's only a 14' boat so don't want to put much money in it. I can help and have a pole barn the we can work in to get out of the weather. It's just south of Davison.

Oh, oh. Who's your sister???????

Las Vegas is dying out right now. Business Agents and Manager says all traveler's will be out by the beginning of June. The B-list is growing in size. Last week there were 150 on that list. If a person is certified in welding they go on a different list that will help them, but even that isn't helping too much. They said if a person has 1200 hours they can stay and transfer their cards to Vegas, but if they don't have the hours, they can't stay. I know a couple people out ther right know working because there isn't work here. Right now there is a list down at our hall for people that want to go to Saudi and inspect duct. We had quite a few guys over there building the embassy. The new list doesn't offer any incentives like the embassy duty. Our list is around 500 guys out. Knowing how to weld helps, it's kept my butt working for a while.:D If she's union, about the only companies hiring guys, are Ventcon and Dee Cramer.

Yeah, but DC will still have an "office" in Detroit. They have to in order to abide by #80's contract. They'll probably move their main shop only. They make too much money in and around Detroit.

I retired from Cramer's 16 monthes ago(22 years there). I seriously doubt they will move to Saginaw. I don't know for sure but in the past they bought a company in Flint to get service contracts. I'm more apt to think something along these lines are happening. They are proud of and love their new shop/office in Grand Blanc and I don't see them abandoning it.
