Well I've always been a Hoyt man and still love em, but thought I'd try something a little different this year...
Came across a good deal on a Elite GT500 and so far I love it.. Have yet to put broadheads through it, but so far its an X killer.. chalked up its first 300 last week and I cant wait to get it on the 3d course...
Have a feeling that I might have to switch to a heavier arrow to slow it done for hunting though...:D
Sorry I haven't shot it through the chrono so no specs yet...

You made a good move! I'm a Hoyt guy myself, but the Elites are just to darn good to ignore. More and more folks are starting to realize this as well.
Congrats and good luck!

Looks like a great find for ya Sbooy. By chance have you had an opportunity to try the Alphamax yet? And if so how does it compare?
I've always been a Mathews switchback guy, until i tried and now Just bought a Pearson Z-34. What a better made bow for the money, Faster, Quieter, better components throughout. Not that mathews are bad, but man there are some really good bows out there, outside of the usual talked about brands.
I have shot the elite line, those are excellant, You made a good choice.

I did shoot the 32, and it is nothing less than expected from Hoyt (already had the GT)
Depending on $$ I might try to find a AM or Katera for a hunting bow..time will tell:D

My arsenal will consist of an AM32 and either the Elite Z28 or GT500...having a hard time deciding between the Z and the GT though......

I'm not a bow basher, but man the pearsons do shoot well, shoot what feels good. I only paid $300 for it, it is used but with less than 200 shots, with extra string and cables.
To me it shoots better than my old switchback, not even a comparison.
