Here is my new Bow for this year!!!

After going around and taking a look at just about everything out there and shooting close to 20 bows here she is. I bought a brand new 2008 High Country Archery Speed Force. I liked the 2009 speed pro but to get the little extra speed it had it gained quite a bit of noise.

Anyways the speed pro at 60 lbs, 29 inch and with my beaman ics hunter arrows i am getting 296 fps, with my target arrows which are 6.4 gpi i am getting 320 fps. This thing is very amazing and alot of funhttp://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s25/mc2222/DSC01097.jpg to shoot. No hand shock whatsoever, no torque, no vibration, very amazing and its still pretty smooth to draw. Almost as smooth as my Elite synergy which is known to be very smooth.

It is the limb saver grip wrap. I only use it when its cold. You can wrap it pretty tight so it doesnt make the grip to big.

Very nice. Those skeletonized limb pockets look pretty cool. If HC can regain the confidence of dealers, they will do very well.

Being i'm an old HOYT fan, ya know the old laminated limb's, im impressed by the return to laminated limbs again and they look sweet on that or any bow! Nice selection I might ad, Hope to handle 1 here in the near future!

They never really left! Those are Barnesdale limbs and Barnesdale is a household name in the limb industry. A number of manufacturers use them including, HC, Pearson, and Elite. Both Elite and Pearson now dip the entire limb so you don't see the "laminate", but they are the same limb. Martin Also uses a laminate limb among others....Hoyt included. Hoy limbs and Barnesdale limbs are arguably the two best limbs on the market.

And The HCA bows use the thickest barnsdale limbs in the industry. They are 8 layers. This bow is incredible.

Those new High Country bows are very B.A.!!!

Do they still have the SEVERE cam lean in them? I tried the Iron Mace when it first came out two years back and WOW I couldn't believe the string could go back into the valley when I let it go. They shot GREAT but the roller guard really put stress on those cams. That's the reason they have the Barnsdale limbs. Also you can shoot down to 3 grains per pound without voiding warranty!!! Which is INSANE!!!

I think this will be my next bow actually! If the cam lean isn't there.
