Does anybody know what Lake Pleasant in Lapeer County has in it for fish?

I have been out on Pleasant Lake in 7 or 8 times and got skunked 5 times and only a couple dink gills the other times. From the other people I have talked to, they are not doing any better. It is a private lake.

Are you asking about Pleasant Lake (next to Pero) or Lake Pleasant, they are two different lakes. I have been on the one by Pero.

Hope this helps.

I am referring to Lake Pleasant just north of Elba right by Torzewski County Park. Just so you know, there has been noone on the lake for the last three days, the shoreline is open. I don't know how the middle is. The last time I went out there was about 8 inches of ice, don't know what it is after the warm weather.

That is the same Lake I am asking about. I have relitive that just bought on the lake and I am trying to see what is in the lake to fish for, summer or winter. I would imagine there are some bass and pike. What size? What else might be n the lake in numbers enough to say I might go fish for them. I was really hoping to hear walleye but since nobody is chiming in, it is unlikly or a secret since it is a private lake?

No Wallygators in the lake, Largemouth, pike, (the pike on my avatar was caught off my dock),perch (few and far between), crappie (not many and small) and plenty of gills. I just don't know where they go in the winter.

There are some pretty good size channel cats in that lake. Lots of dogfish and carp too.

Yes, I did not think of the cats and carp. I don't target them. I have never seen a dogfish though i wouldn't be suprised.
