Just checking to see if anyone has been fishing out by Lyons den if so how is the shore ice there and how is the ice holding up.

not sure about the lyons den, however they had a guy go through on the west end. 13 news said he was out about a half mile.

anyone know if this was just a weak spot, or is all the ice bad out there.

have not been out ,however did do some looking around today, do know we are rapidly loosing ice . Only a few trucks at Indian Bay rd. this morning, did not see anyone on lyons den when i looked at 8am , 10am, and 3pm. not saying some crazy people are not on somewhere ,but I know a guy who was on yesterday and he said he could watch the ice melting out from under him. call ahead first if your going to try. i was there yesterday and will be there in the morning.....yesterday i took out my tape and got 9 inches of good black ice...i would still bring a spud just to be safe
