I think it would be very helpfull if members would report on ice conditions for the NE lower, NW lower, and the remainder of the state so as those who can only get out on certain days can plan ahead and be safe!
We have had a lot of warmth and rain. The ice changes EVERY day and sometimes hourly.
Please contribute ! :D I haven't found a fish worth dying for yet.
Thank you.

I agree with paperboy, the fact that im planning on going fishing on a lake not too populated has nothing to do with the ice conditions on wixom lake or somewhere in kent county when im going to be fishing 150 miles away. I see nothing wrong with his question and it seems like someone else is the one who needs their hand held. :dizzy:

I was actually thinking of doing this myself. As for the plenty of other posts maybe someone should just move on and read those and leave the ones he does not like alone.
There is nothing wrong with people asking questions. That is what this about. People helping others.
Just my humble opinion.

gee sorry if I stepped on someones **** my point is, if you have a question about a particular body of water ask about said body of water. There are plenty of current posts covering numerous lakes and also a seperate area for ice conditions by area. there is also a search feature and if you don't see a current report send a pm. do we really need a seperate sub-forum for every lake? or just your favorite lake. I stand by what I said but possibly could have been more diplomatic in my response. If you take the time to read the posts and ask some questions we are all more than willing to share. I just don't see the need to clutter this site with lake by lake sub-forums when the information is so readily available. Again, sorry if you thought I was burning on you or your buddy. Don
