My wife and I are taking an early anniversary trip to Clear Lake in about 2 weeks. We are renting a cabin at Clear Lake Resort. The guy told my wife the lake is good for panfish, pike, walleye, and perch. Anyone have any pointers as to where to target any of these species? I have a lake map so if you can give me a depth range and or areas to try I would appreciate it. Tim

I've caught walleyes on the south side of the island. It is the first island on the east side of the lake. It drops off fast there so try close to the island 9 to 12 feet of water. Tip ups right off bottom.
Good luck,
Casey

they have some nice perch in that lake, i've done good at the north west point in 15fow in a boat. i've also done good with walleye all over the lake in a boat as well. i have never ice fished it, whitch sucks because i'm only 10 minutes away from the damn thing...lol... i would just see where everyone else is fishing and target them areas first, just stay on the outside of them and you should be good

Beetle Spins work good for me from shore of the Holloway during the summer. I hope to find some eyes and some perch.
