Made it out for a couple of hours. Ice was fine, just LOTS of water on it. Set up shallow and my buddy had small ones immediately. They disappeared quick, so he moved. I had my boys and the shanty. I set them up and then moved around. Nothing. My buddy found some 3-4" fish, so he moved, quite a ways into the bay. At 5:30pm, I pulled the shanty and my buddy came back. He had 7 8-9" fish and they were coming pretty regular, but he saw me getting ready to leave so he quit. Wish we could have stayed longer. Fish came on Fiscous jig with half a minnow.
