Dumo
nt is a iffy lake if you can find them it is ok at best. Depending where you are planning on going and what you are fishing for. Have caught some nice perch out of there but not in great numbers also have caught some pike on tip ups but once again not in great numbers. Some of the better lakes for gills around here are Minor, Emerson and Swan but depending on the warm up you could be dealing with a lot of water or slush on top. Haven't heard of anywhere lately that has been good last I heard it was really slow but if you are just looking for fish for kids I would try Minor before Dumont straight out from the boat launch about 150 yards it is around 8 to 10 ft and you should get some bites not saying any size but at least some action.

Good Luck

That's sound advice. Miner Lake out front of the boat launch is better than Dumont, in my experience.
