Well I'm heading out tomorrow to try and fill a bucket with some perch. I know it is supposed to be warm, but possibly rainy. I'm debating on whether I want to take the shanty out or not. If its rainy I know I'll be happy to have it, and I like the visibility of the water from inside the shanty. On the other hand only taking the bucket gives me a lot lighter load if I have to do a lot of moving.
What do you guys think???

possibility of rain w/ 20mph winds. I'll have my shanty. Being able to see the fish and not let the dinks get your bait before the big one is also a plus.
Windy,30mph gusts plus some rain = shanty or a warm dry house.
With those winds I will be in my shanty.

I plan on being in my shanty, tis fun to watch the fish swim by - and sometimes a bit aggrevating watching them check out the bait but then turn away. Oh well. Such is the game of fishing.
