kens spoons are a must as well as tear drops. Run a minnow on a tear drop with spring bobber rod and a kens spoon spoon with or without spikes on a jiggin rod. get a schooley spring bobber rod for the minnows if you can.($10) if not go with a bobber. good luck!

Don't go tomorrow,, the wind will ruin ya forever...

Seriously though,, do you have good snow pants and good boots?? The rest of the advice you'll be able to pick up at the baitshop when you pick up minnows. Lures, location, etc....

I started with a pole, a hammer(to break open someone elses hole from earlier or the day before), about 5 old beat up lures and a bucket to sit on. If you enjoy it, you'll catch on to what you need. Beware though, its hard to explain to the better half how you can spend a bunch of money to only bring home a bucket full of empty 'ginger-ale' cans.

And if not that then you will have a new monkey on your back with all the ideas you have for making ice fishing stuff!
