Wind!!!

That is pretty much all I can say. I'm so tired of wind whenever I go icefishing!

Calling for 20-30 mph winds tomorrow! :rant:

The winds and the poor reports has been what has kept me off the hard water this season so far.I will be out before the ice goes I hope.

I was out on Saginaw Bay last Saturday and I am surprised my Shappell is still in one piece. Well I did bend one pole, but that was my fault. And broke the minnow bucket too. Wind was non stop at least 20 all day.:mad: It was brutal. Oh, and not one keeper yet. Buddy got one 10.5 and we each had a fillet. That has been the big haul so far this year.

I should have put this up earlier but heres the windy forecast for this weekend

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of rain or drizzle. Areas of fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 44. Breezy, with a south southwest wind between 18 and 22 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind between 10 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 37. Northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph
