Alright I checked the thrift stores and found a snowboard but no skis. I'm looking for a set of 180-200 downhill skis to finish my sled. dont really want to spend more than $20. Anybody got a set in the garage to get rid of?

Let me take a look. I think I have a pair that would work fine. I haven't used them in at least 14 years. I'm pretty sure they're still up in the joists of my father's basement. I should be going down there tomorrow to check on his place because he's in Florida until May. If they're there, I'll bring them back and they're all yours! Just the cost of gas to drive up here. ;) I'll let you know tomorrow.

Jim,
I have a pair of 185 rossignols you can have for $20.00
Even have the bindings off already. I was going to use them till I found a set of 155's.
I'll send a PM with my phone.

Thanks for the replies but I got em. I'll post pics when I'm done.
Going for a ridable sled using same sled but different ski set up.

My dad's gonna be bummed. I guess I'll just leave them up there then.:lol:
Glad you got what you were looking for though.

Somebody is a carpenter! Nice use of floor joint straps! That looks heavy duty, are you pulling by hand or with machine?

My roomate towed it by hand today, fully loaded with gear, and said he didnt even feel it behind him. Got towed back in riding it behind a 4-wheeler and it passed that test too. I'll find out for myself tomorrow but for now we are making a couple minor mods to bungee gear down.
