I thought I was the only one to own a snow boat! Had one for 10 years, great coop. Love the hole setup, love the height, love the weight pulled great on snow, very light! Love the fabric, get's super hot in the sun. Setup is a cinch.

Now, some negatives so I don't sound like an infomercial (to late, I know). Mine leaked through the fabric on the roof when it rained or snowed HEAVILY. Being the coop was so light and tall, the wind played havoc with me in it alone.

Probably one of the best designed coops I have seen, (I own a trap now). Just thought I would throw some pro's and con's out there since I owned one.

I cured my leaking problem with a canvas treatment product(probably needs another application), but I agree that it can be a bit tricky in the wind if you are alone!!

I also have one still, needs some patch work from the mice. But I still use it when I take friends along. I used that thing a lot. I do love the weight for pulling it and it has Good heavy canvas. Good luck selling it.

You really should put it on Craigslist.org The listing is free and people will see it. When I was looking to get a Clam 5600, half the time they were already sold by the time I called or emailed. One guy said he had ten calls when he was selling his Clam 5600.

Does that tell you anything? ;)

That's what we have a classified section for. It's so the regular forums don't get filled up with ads. Something I've noticed for a while but haven't said anything about is this. We have the classified section where the ads are to be placed. Once the ad is placed, a copy of it automatically gets placed in the for sale forum. Then almost immediately the person placing the ad goes to the forum most closely related to the item for sale and starts a thread "Hey go look at the for sale forum, I have an "X" for sale". So now there are in effect THREE ads on the site for the same item. When the ad is originally placed it will show up with all the other posts if the user clicks the "New Posts" button. Then it will get just as much exposure as any other thread here.

What is the point of having a classifieds section?

I will hold no ill will if the mods choose to close this thread. I just seen another for sale thread in this forum and the results were good so I guess I got antsy and thought I could get away with it.:dizzy:
Really want to sell!:one_eye:
I do agree that this kind of action can distract from the nature of the forum..........My apologies!;):)

No biggie Sly,
I didn't mean to pick on you but your number just came up. As I talked about in my reply I've notice a lot of this over the past couple months and you just happened to be the lucky one that got me to reply. :) It's not really that big of a deal but it's starting to slide back toward forums full of ads again and I think that's why Steve created the classifieds section.

Take care

John
