I'm new to ice fishing and am thinking about getting some electronics to help me out.

From your experiences, which will help me out the most....Fish finder or under water camera? I also have a small jon boat that I just purchased last summer that I may use this for come spring in small lakes.

I have my thoughts but want to get some "experienced" thoughts. Thanks for the input!

Go with the fish finder/flasher. You'll end up fishing cloudy water where cameras aren't worth doodly squat. I use both, but would take the Vex if I had to fish w/one or the other.

If you plan on using this sonar 4 seasons, I recommend getting a color graph unit instead of a flasher. Those w/ gps built-in are handy for hard & soft water, too.

If you're only going to have one. Fishfinder. No question.
