has anyone bought a reconditioned vex?

was just wondering if anyone has ordered a reconditioned vex from vexilar? I see they come with a two year warranty and they are a bit cheaper.

nothing to worry about, the refurbished units are checked over more than the new ones. As you stated you get the two year warranty and for 20 bucks can add another 2 years onto it. Good people to deal with there. Call them up and ask to speak with the service department, theres more options than whats on the website.

I have a re-furb I got about 3 years ago. Works good. But I did have a major problem with the transducer and had to replace it. Warranty didn't cover my puppy chewing the transducer chord in half! :lol: No "real" problems with it at all.

For the amount you are going to pay for a reconditioned vex you can buy a new x67c and get more for your money.

Have had mine for 4yrs and love it...in MHO if you want a vex the only way to go is recon...

A Reconditioned vex is much better than a Reconditioned Lowrance unit anytime.:)
