anyone fishing bawbees or boot lake?

my parents have been on baw beese and had to hop holes but usually end up with 30-50 gills and a few crappies, with a couple pike thrown in. They have been fishing behind the bait shop, they have been out 3 times in the last week. They have caught some nice redears this year, said you could see them down there staring at your bait but rarely bite. They are catching them on a marmoska tiped with 2-3 spikes. Hope this helps
