Haven't been there in years but it was always fun. Try the west and south west end of Snake Isl.....we always did real good there on the big ones. Deep water though......80feet. Made our own perch rigs and used a 1 once pyramid sinker to get them to the bottom fast. When they were biting it was fishon as soon as you hit bottom......anyhow...fun stuff!!!!!!

Cooks Bay & Snake Island were good years ago - now, just the smaller ones. I would suggest around St. Georgina Island. The magic lure----------------hmmmmmmm, should I share?
Use a Haley on the bottom with a perch minnow and about 18" - 24" up tie a dropper line about 6-8" off the main. Use a small steelhead/egghook and attach a small plastic crawfish - from the tail out the belly. Pumpkinseed/chartuse.... The only place I found that carries them is Frank's. The Haley gets it down quick and most my 12-16" perch come from the crawfish. Think about it, when you cut the bellies open their full of these things....Good Luck, It works.....Jeff
