jiffy auger handles??????!!!!!!

do they make any kits for the old school style jiffys? mine has a handle up on the very top and one long post down on the side. i was told that these ones are dangerous. can you buy or fabricate a different system?

Just got a old still one to. I would like to know if you need that handle on the bottom I got mine new in the box for $150 never been runned .No gas every in it.It has a extra auger that you can't change the teeth in the auger 10"

I had one of those old style jiffy's and that old handle was determined unsafe. A up grade to the dual handle like the new ones was offered for free. Don't know if they are still available or not. I did that change over many years ago. I broke my hand with that old style handle. Lost my grip and that straight handle swung around and hit the back of my hand.

thats what ive been hearing about these damn things. i was told that jiffy was hooking people up with a different set up cause of the law suits from people snapping wrists. ill have to hit them up.
