Previously unseen Bill Hicks last night 1-30-09

Letterman had Hicks's mother on also. Not a rerun but actually yesterdays show with the old routine not aired until now. Was pretty weird, apparently Dave elected not to air the bit back in 1993 just months before he died for reasons he couldn't explain.
Always loved his comedy but he was cut way too short. If you get the chance to see this program somehow, it was great to see him again. Now I wanna find some DVD's on him for old times sake...

I do not think anything really happened, he had him on a lot as a guest comedian. On the show Friday Dave explained he wasn't really sure why he chose to cut that bit from the original show, but did and appologized to Bill's mother for it and thats about it.
I cannot run the links on dial-up but glad they are out there for people to see. Nice job on that!
