Ive fished for trout in that lk and i know they stock it, but i think people catch alot of them in the summer, so i dont know if any winter over. I dont know how deep it is, one guy told me it is only 25 ft deep but spring fed. I curious on how you do... Ive been told get their early punch your holes wait awhile then fish, start out in 5ft and work your way out. but be very quiet because they spook easy, fish away frm people. Good luck and PM me if you catch any, ive fished their many times and never caught one....

I use a white glow teardrop and a waxworm in 25 fow and keep it 6' down. trout like to roam the suface looking for a meal. Follow your graph and put it in their face...quite a rush on 2lb test.

I fish a very small system, so I use 2lb and a #12 single egg hook. Tip that with a small spawn bag tied with only 3 eggs. I also get them on waxies and jigs but seems like the larger ones I get on spawn. I had a great photo of a fish that I got last week, unfortuantely somehow my wife deleted it:mad:. Good luck with the trout they are a blast through the ice.

Looks like the DNR hasn't stocked fish in that lake for a while now...

I drive by Lake Interstate all the time and always see folks out there fishing.

Can those trout survive for a couple years, assuming nobody has caught them? Just wondering because a few lakes near me in Livingston County are stocked and I figured they have been caught or died during the summer.

I fished that lake when they first made it. Haven't been there since. Used to go by every day on the way to work . Funny-- I was thinking about it last night:rolleyes:. Are there still gills and crappie in it? Didn't know there was trout in it. Let me know what you get??????? Thanks Mike
