just wonderin if anyone has been fishin at fletchers lately, i haven't been there in a couple of weeks and was just wonderin if anyone had a report..thanks mike

Mike, Ran into a guy on grand lake yesterday that lives close to fletchers and said that there have been nothing but dinks and he was waiting till spring to fish it again. I havent been there myself this year but from what Ive been hearing I probably will look elsewhere. Hope this helps.

Just got back from there...
Caught 10 or 12 decent gills, 1 perch and 1 crappie. Lots of little perch and gills. The pike aren't biting at all. Had a couple swim through and look at the minnow. I saw guy have one flag and lose a pike in the 6 or 7 hours I was out there. Lots of people and many leaving rather quickly.

Slow. a few tiny perch. Pike come in look at your minnow, bump it a few times and swim off. I guess with 2 ft of ice in 6 ft of water, the fish are probably seeking areas with high Oxygen levels. I just don't know where that is. I'll be exploring other lakes this weekend.

thanks for all the info guys, i appreciate all the help...unfortunately i will have to do some exploring for the tourney i guess and will hopefully get lucky...but thanks again..Mike
