the crappie have actually been steady out on chippewa lake this year...

spec minnow on a tear drop worked well for me. color didnt seem to matter to much.

were u useing glow or just a regular tear drop. going to go try this weekend out there and will let u guys know what happens.

they were glows, caught half of them from midnight till about 1:30 am.

Fishing was very good out there tonight... Rising pressure may have had something to do with it. But darkness made them light up my flasher

ep, sounds like your right along the "wind line" I'd always set up there for eyes on the drop off. Great area to fish! Gota get back up to the house "cabin" on a permanent basis. Chip lake was only about 20 minutes away.
