Just checking - know the ice has been poor with the low water levels and then raising the water level . Anyone been out there and is it fishable - safe ice.

Would like to do some tip up fishing with the kids.

Take it for what it's worth, but I got a report from a friend of a friend who found the Crappie and brought home about two dozen. Said he found an island of weeds out in the middle of the lake:dizzy:

Didn't give up more than that. This was like 2 weeks ago I believe. I haven't been there this year...
