ice pigs

as the season wears on I am starting to see a lots of beer cans and crap left on the ice. I could give a rip of what people drink,smoke or say (assuming there isn't little kids close by) on the ice but leaving crap on the ice ain't right. Gives ice fisherman a bad name. I pick up the crap on the way back and toss it in the garbage if I can. Pigs won't stop being pigs-- you always have to clean their pens.......

Good job and thank you for picking up after these slobs! I too pick up after them and will walk acrossed the bay to clean up. We can rant all we want but a slob is a slob!:sad: Hopefully the fish gods put the skunk in there hole!

yeah I notice that a lot on Higgins in the smelt town areas. Last year I went through one area in March where I was fishing and picked up two five gallons buckets of junk. I was told another group cleaned up several large trash bags at the end of the season. This year looks to be about the same.:sad:

I pay for two or three jigs every year, picking up other people's Beer and Pop cans and turning them in for the deposit!

I can see some ciggy butts or peanut shells, but once people start dumpin the beer cans, pop bottles, water bottles, crown royal, minnow buckets, etc. etc. That's BS! I picked up alot of **** from some slobs on Union Lake yesterday.

I had to leave the Crown Royal bottle and minnow bucket cause I actually ran out of room to stuff garbage in my sled. :sad:

i fish 3-5days a week ive ben to many lakes i havent seen much trash most lakes are small and some are being fished hard ive ben on a few larger popular lakes .reading therse posts makes it sound like we are a
bunch of slobs i dont see this. i dought that meny of us m.s.guys are trashing out our own playgrounds. maybe we can do some thing about this.identify witch lakes are being hit the worst. and have a clean up outing m&g or tourniment dont just sit back and bitch do something........john

I dont think its a cass of "sit back and complaine about it." its getting the word out to other fisherman to let them know pick up your trash on the ice when your done fishing i do.... some people have to told what to do, i still think poeple think their mommys are going to still pick-up after them:dizzy:....

Its even better when they throw the crap in the hole so it freezes and you cant pick it up. My favorite is propane bottles

This topic has been beat to death. It isn't gonna change. All we can do is pick up what we come across. You know how many cans I have in my garage that I would never put in my mouth. I mean do all these slobs drink milwaukees best and busch.:D

I have to agree,there are alot of people out there that do not care about the out doors.AND THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE!!!Must be in how they were brought up.My dad always tought me that you leave a place better than it was when you got there.And i'm sure my grandpa told my dad the same thing.I have passed the same respect for the out doors to my children and grand children.All we can do is keep doing our part .

:yeahthat:Ewwww! They wonder why they are always sick...from always ingesting fecal matter. They do this at my work ...i'm 1st to say " YOU FORGOT TO WASH YOUR HANDS" and they scurry like a bunch of rats from knowing they should've but now are embarrassed. WHAT IS EVEN MORE GROSS: watching them eat a sandwich or having a smoke after coming out of the restroom. (I just threw up in my mouth)
These slobs teach their kids by example, throwing s#*t out the window , not washing hands , leaving their residence a mess etc, so its no wonder these slobs dont know any different. I personally like calling them out on it ..."hey, you dropped something" or "hey buddy, you forgot your garbage" They no its wrong , but are conditioned not too give a s#*t from previous slob elders who didnt give a s#*t before them

I can remember picking up other people’s trash off the ice as long as I have ice fished. My ole man and I would always pick up cans and what not. We always had a bag for that stuff. Last week was a new one for me, I saw something on the ice or thought was on the ice, turned out it was in the ice. It was 5 hypodermic needles that some asshat had poured water over and froze in the ice. Sometimes I wonder how these people can be breathing without brains in that lump 3 feet above their ...
