Hello Gents new to the posts have been reading threads for a couple weeks now and love ice fishing live in Hillsdale County. Anyways planning a trip to Fletcher's Pond the end of Feb. staying at Jack's Landing anyone out there have any tips or hints about where to go? How is the crappie and or perch bite? I know we can probably run pike tip ups all day but any help would be much appreciated.

I've heard people say if you find the old river bed you will do good...I've never caught anyhing than dinks myself(not in the riverbed though).

Around the end of February on Fletcher's the fishing can really be super slow. I fished the last week of February up there and there was over 30 inches of solid ice where I was fishing. We fished for about 2 hours and only managed to get 4 (20-25") pike and a 7" crappie.
