keweenaw bay laker-help?

Does anyone know of anyone catching lakers yet in keweenaw bay. I was out at squaw beach this morning and the action was really slow. Nothing to bring home. So next weekend im hoping to get into good lake trout territory. Anyone have any suggestions?

I haven't been back to L'Anse in a while but my dad and I always fished as deep as we could. We would often go off the Curwood Park access on the L'Anse side and get right in the middle of the bay. I think it was about 180 ft. or so. Depends on how much ice is there too. But if you're off squaw beach there must be some good ice.

I walked out from the Mission this morning. 4 1/2" of ice where I was fishing in 230'. Many small ones; kept a 5lb and a smaller one.
