Angels Trumphet

My angels trumphet is in full bloom right now commanding our bay window. This is a tropical plant I grow outdoors in the summer and I cut it back and bring it inside in September. It will bloom from now till I take it outside and continue through the summer. One neat thing about this plant is as soon as it get's dark, it emits a very strong fragrence for a couple hours. You can't smell it at all during the daytime. I assume it is to attract moths in it's native environment.

I have a simalar plant that comes up every year in my outside beds thats called "nights queen" same wonderful smell after dark that you mention. Not a bush but a annual plant that comes up from seed every year.

Nice post! Ive got seeds for two colors of angels trumpet. I cant wait to get them started thats one good looking plant.
