I think I'm going to smoke up some fatties and ribs for next week! I have the father in law in town and figured I'd make some good eats!

got lazy yesterday and put the rub on a slab of ribs that I cooked in the oven at 200 for about 5 hours. The rub tasted good (which was the purpose of the "test") but it definitely needed some smokey flavor. Looks like I'll fire up the smoker next week!

I used the rub for the first time today on a couple chuck roasts. About 4 hours on the smoker then finished in the oven because I had to take my daughter to hitting lessons. Came back to hot beef sammys with mash taters and smokey gravey. I will use this rub again.
