Sorry about this late report, my day and night schedule has been full since fishing this spot thursday and friday. I brought back a dozen nice 8 1/2-10 1/2 perch each day frishing from 10 AM to 1 PM. Theres a large white two story newer house closer to the Salt River than Cotten Rd. I fished in front of it and out less than 1/4 mile in 5.5 feet of water. Lots of fish all day both days, but the big ones only came shooting in when a fresh aggressive minnow was thrown in the hole. Sometimes I could throw down a small jig with a wiggler and they would hit that quickly while looking at the minnow. I did have to spear a few of them that started swimming away. Lots of bass and good sized bluegill coming thru too. Two inches of slop under the snow and the ice was only 6" thick. Good luck!
