Cotton and ATV's

Just wondering never tried it :help: so I feel asking here first is the best way... The use of a ATV at Cotton Rd, is there a way to get one on the ice from there, is it legal, and is the ice ok for it. On the same note, is it good to head from SANG to Cotton on the ice with a machine, i.e. ice conditions.

I've done it from SANG a couple of times(not yet this year),, no problems. You better have some good gloves or heated grips and a good face and neck mask.

Believe salmonslammer made that run earlier in the week.

There is pretty much a road cut from SANG...stay on that and u will be fine.

No promises if u go prospecting though...that part of the lake is infamous for gas pockets that form every year.

The "new" ice is only 4 or 5"....FWIW
