caught some keepers today, finally !

fish were hitting real light.

missed more than we caught.

6 ft of water, on minnows

12.30/2.30 was the best time.

every body was toward the beach today.

DANGER one bozo left his ice block out on the ice after he went home.

damm near hit it going back in. really close to the rutted path from the quads.

i not sure what the rule of thumb is on that , when you cut out a big chunk with a chainsaw and leave it on the ice , maybe someone can tell me. :yikes:

becareful guys special if its dark or getting dark.

I'm not sure either. Leave it on the ice to mark the hole and machines can hit it, put it back in the water and people can step into it or quads can fall through. If anyone has a good idea i'd like to hear it.

It's a rule of safety for as long as i remember. It's to let others know there is a large hole there. Only sure sign of knowing. Slow down if u can't see the blocks, it's for your own good too!

That's what I think too. Safer to mark the hole and the machines just have to be careful.

I have a buddy of mine who will take a small tree branch which you can stick it in the snow, next to the block. it will at least make a person look at that spot when driving or walking by.
